Leading Providers US Digital Banking Users Would Trust Most to Provide Them with Banking Services, 2021 & 2022 (% of respondents)

Note

Respondents were asked, "Imagine that each of the following companies offered services you might typically get at a bank, such as a checking account. Which of the following would you trust most to provide you with banking services? Select up to 3."

Methodology

Insider Intelligence surveyed 1,961 banking digital users in the US between May 16 and June 13, 2022, asking them to rank their banks across six key factors that affect trust in digital banking: security, privacy, reputation, reliability, ease of use, and feature breadth. The respondents were selected to align with the US population on the criteria of age (among those ages 18 to 76), gender, household income, race/ethnicity, and region. The survey was fielded by a third-party sample provider. Data has a margin of error of +/-2.2 percentage points at the 95% confidence interval.
