Methodology
Data is from the April 2021 Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH) and Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) report titled "How Corporate Executives View Rising Health Care Costs and the Role of Government" conducted by Beresford Research. 302 US employers who provide health benefits to their employees, with at least 5,000 employees, widely distributed by region and industry, were surveyed via telephone during December 2020-January 2021. Respondents are chief executive officers (14%), chief financial officers (15%), chief operational officers (16%), chief human officers (15%), or people directly reporting to those positions (40%). The respondents are in agriculture, forestry & fishing (10%), construction (11%), financial services (11%), manufacturing (13%), mining (9%), retail trade (12%), services (12%), telecoms (9%), and transportation & distribution (13%).Featured In
