Methodology

Data is from the September 2019 Adobe report titled "Voice of the Generations Survey (US Results) in partnership with Advanis. 4,059 internet users were surveyed online during July 23-29, 2019. Respondents were US citizens and identified their generation as baby boomers (1946-1964), Generation X (1965-1976), millennials (1977-1995) and Gen Z (1996-2001). All generational respondent breakouts were 25%. Respondents also identified their gender as female (48%) or male (52%) with an employment status of full-time employee (45%), part-time employee (13%), self-employed (5%), retired (11%), full-time student (10%), homemaker (6%), not working but looking for work (6%) and other (3%). Advanis is a market research firm.
