This survey question asked US consumers about the time frame in which they begin shopping for the holidays. Responses include August, after Labor Day, October-Thanksgiving and more.

Methodology

Data is from the September 2019 OpenX "2019 Consumer Holiday Shopping Report" conducted by The Harris Poll. 2,000 US internet users ages 18+ who plan to shop this holiday season were surveyed online during August 2019. Results were weighted for age, gender, region, urbanicity, race/ethnicity, education, marital status, household income and socio-economic status to be nationally representative, with a margin of error of 2%.
