The most important aspect of the retail shopping experience is a quick and easy checkout. Consumers also place a lot of value on the ability to earn rewards or loyalty points when shopping, and free or easy returns.

Methodology

Data is from the February 2019 iVend Retail "Global Shopper Trends Report" in partnership with AYTM. 2,750 internet users worldwide ages 18+ were surveyed online during December 2018-January 2019. Respondents were from Australia, Canada, Colombia, Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK and the US.
